Porcelain Veneers

At our Miami practice, placing porcelain veneers is a popular way to enhance your smile. Dental Bonding

At our office in Miami, dental bonding with tooth colored, composite resin is used to repair a number of cosmetic imperfections. Dental bonding can be used to fill gaps between teeth, fix chipped teeth, and to cover stains on the tooth’s surface. At our Miami practice, the dental bonding process is simple. First, resin is applied to the teeth in layers until the desired thickness to complete the repair is achieved. Once the resin is dried, Dr. Furshman buffs the bond to the ideal shape and texture so that it looks natural and undetectable.

Dental bonding is a procedure that will last approximately three to five years with proper maintenance. It is a cost effective alternative to permanent restorations like porcelain veneers and crowns, that will give you the beautiful results you want.

Dental Implants

At our Miami practice, dental implants are an effective, natural way of replacing missing teeth. Dental implants are composed of two parts: the implanted titanium root and the crown. The artificial roots are made of biocompatible titanium and are implanted directly into the jawbone. They integrate into the bone over three to six months and form a solid platform to support the new tooth crown. After healing is complete, Dr. Furshman will place the beautiful, custom-designed crowns on top of the titanium root. Once your new tooth is mounted, your implant will look, feel, and function much like a natural tooth.

Porcelain Inlays

Silver amalgam fillings can make teeth appear dark and dull. Composite bonding can chip and discolor over time. Porcelain inlays from our practice provide an extremely strong, long-lasting replacement and alternative to these procedures. Inlays are able to restore and protect the tooth against further fracture or damage without discoloration or need for a full crown.

Inlays can be created in our office in usually one appointment using the CEREC © system. Inlays have been used for years in the fabrication of crown and bridgework, providing natural tooth color and translucency. Porcelain inlays and onlays match your own tooth color and are virtually indistinguishable from your natural teeth. Almost any silver or gold filling can be replaced with a beautiful porcelain ceramic inlay.
